Who we are
Sweat & Soil is operated by Vibes Europe BV, based in the Netherlands. We run the platform at sweatandsoil.com, which connects sports groups and fitness communities with host farms in the Mediterranean for working harvest trips.

What we collect — and why
Your name and email address
When you create an account, we store your name and email. This is how we identify you, send you important updates about your trip, and let you log back in.
Your role on the platform
We record whether you joined as a group leader or a host. This helps us show you the right dashboard and features.
Trip request details
When you submit a trip request — group size, preferred dates, region, fitness level — we store that so we can match you with the right host.
Host listing information
If you apply as a host, we store the details you submit about your farm, location, crops, and availability.
Contact form messages
If you send us a message through the contact form, we store it so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.
Google login data
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. We don't access anything else from your Google account.
What we don't do
- ✓We don't sell your data to third parties.
- ✓We don't use your data for advertising or profiling.
- ✓We don't send marketing emails without your consent.
- ✓We don't store your payment details — we don't handle payments on the platform.
Third-party services we use
We work with a small number of trusted services to run the platform. Each of these has their own privacy policy.
Our database and authentication provider. Your account data and trip information is stored on Supabase's servers (EU region).
Used for optional Google Sign-In. If you use this option, Google shares your name and email with us.
Used to send transactional emails — like confirmation emails and contact form replies.
The platform that hosts our website. Vercel may log basic request data (IP address, browser type) for security purposes.
Your rights (GDPR)
You're based in Europe, so are we — so the GDPR applies in full. That means you have the right to:

- →Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- →Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- →Object to or restrict how we process your data
- →Withdraw consent at any time

How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer if required by law (for example, financial records).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies — specifically the session cookie that keeps you logged in. We don't use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email or with a notice on the platform. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
